Nestled in Southern California, the Glamis Sand Dunes are a stunning and picturesque location for couples looking for unique elopement or engagement options. The dramatic backdrop is a bit unpredictable with windy conditions, but it only builds to the fun and experience of it all.
The dessert is a great place to plan all of your fun boho vibes for either an engagement or elopement session. Glamis Sand Dunes offers stunning golden sunsets and is great because NO PERMITS ARE NECESSARY.
A few other things to keep in mind if this location is right for you:
Every single time I look at these photos, I have to pick my jaw up from off the floor. Every. Freakin. Time. Glamis Sand Dunes are for sure one of my new favorite spots to have a creative outlet in! I will be blown away by the magic that is created in this sandy paradise forever.
Blue hour has recently become one of my FAVORITE parts of the day (next to golden hour, of course). I just love how every detail and color pops in such a unique way, and holds your attention.
Creating photo magic at the sand dunes during the blue hour can result in stunning and ethereal images. Blue hour occurs shortly before sunrise or after sunset when the sky takes on a beautiful blue hue. Most couples think that when the sun goes down, the photography experience comes to a close. However, I carry a set of aesthetically pleasing lanterns around with me and am ready for any opportunity!
Seriously, you do NOT want to miss out on these magical moments at the end (or beginning!) of your elopement or wedding day.
