Flying south for a change, I captured Katie + Branson’s beautiful Georgian wedding. Traveling is one of the opportunities this job as a wedding photographer that I fell in love with. I am so honored that this couple chose to work with me. Nothing is more exciting than adding a new location or venue to my list of captures! Soooo keep reading for a glimpse of what your day could look like if you’re planning a wedding in the southern states.
Katie + Branson lucked out with some amazing weather for their march wedding. Perks of saying “I do,” in the south! We didn’t have to worry about any potential rainfalls or blizzards like some of my other elopement locations.
While the venue itself was certainly gorgeous, I absolutely loved exploring the incredible acreage available. From wooded private views to this simple pond, we had a lot of fun finding the perfect locations for some stunning images.
The rustic look has been around for a while. I don’t see it going anywhere fast, but this barn has a lot to offer couples in search of a beautiful Georgian wedding location!
The outdoor ceremony location can fit up to 300 guests and has a beautiful gazebo and benches for guests. The gazebo is a blank slate for brides to dream up their décor and customize their wedding vision.
Located on an active ranch, the G5Ranch, Dogwood Barn sits at the center of more than 600 acres. Lots to explore! The barn itself has stunning chandeliers for after the sun goes down, an elegant bridal suite with a private bathroom, a foyer great for cocktail hour, and so many more amenities you don’t want to miss out on.
Katie + Branson had a gorgeous wedding day. Check out all of the prime moments in the video below!
*A HUGE Bonus to this venue, is the amazing and incredible drone views. When you hire a professional videographer, there are endless opportunities for eyes in the skies.
