PNW Engagement Session at Tipsoo Lake, Mt Rainier

Finding hidden gems in the PNW is one of my favorite pastimes, and this engagement session at Tipsoo Lake did not disappoint. Going to Tipsoo Lake has been on my bucket list for a while now! I finally got the chance to go and do some engagement pictures there, and OMG Tipsoo was absolutely incredible!! If you’re looking for a jaw-dropping location let’s adventure together and go to Mt. Rainier. I promise you won’t regret it!

Abby and Kacey have been best friends forever. Since Kacey relocated to Washington state in middle school, the two crossed paths in many of the same classes and shared so many amazing memories together.

“We shared the absolute best memories and so many laughs, to the point of where he literally made me pee in class on multiple occasions,” Abby remembers.

Unbeknownst to her, Kacey fell in love with Abby the moment he saw her in their eighth grade science class. It was clear that they shared a deep level of understanding and a great deal of inside jokes during our time together. We had the best time creating new memories and capturing the special moments together.

Also, the two booked me for their wedding next month, and I couldn’t be more excited!! Over the last nine years together, the two have only fallen more in love with each other. You’ll want to stay tuned for the images from that big day, too.

An engagement session at Tipsoo Lake is perfect for any couple looking for a location that doesn’t require a permit. Nestled in Mount Rainier National Park, the diverse views surrounding the spot are breathtaking.

There is the lake itself with its tranquil reflections. However, the surrounding nearby meadows and forests are also stunning for different moods and aesthetics adding depth to the overall gallery.

Another bonus to Tipsoo Lake is just how easily accessible it is! The parking lot is located nearby but out of sight in the photos, and is completely feasible without an extensive hiking experience.
